The supply efforts have completed bringing over all the necessary gear for the outpost's gate as of 7 Sept 1642. The fort and the outpost still need to be run forward, but I have only one character at the outpost (Thorkell) and usually have no characters at the fort.

The group making supply trips between the fort and the outpost had a largely uneventful time of it, mostly avoiding encounters.

The group making supply trips between the fort and Zokat had one uneventful trip. On the second trip to Zokat they ran into some mountain goblins who made the mistake of engaging. We killed all seven (including the two who tried to make a run for it but were successfully run down when they tired first). We then tracked them back to a cave, where we found a captive elf woman, pregnant and in otherwise bad shape. (Unfortunately we apparently missed the two goblin children who were probably hiding in the cave.) We carried the elf woman back to Zokat. After some discussion with Karas and later Thorfin, a human who spoke her language (she doesn't speak Laratoan) was found to act as translator. She said she'd been captured when an exploratory expedition she was with was attacked by goblins, and she's been held by them for a long time. She said the expedition she was with were exploring the new lands between between two islands; one of the islands was where we found her, the other was directly to the north, and they are now connected. At one point she asked why we were staying outside the city (we were in Zokat at the time). Thorfin is keeping her as a "guest" and sending messages to dwarves in the human lands to make enqueries among the elves. She gave birth to a goblin child shortly before we left Zokat; the child was killed, with complete approval by her. This is all being reported to Stonehead by Hrolfr, since he thinks Stonehead might find this interesting.

Thorfin (with a couple retainers) accompanied the most recent Zokat resupply group. He's seen the fort, and has just arrived at the outpost with the supply shuttle group.

My understanding of the plan is that Stonehead will complete the door now that he has all the hardware, then we'll establish trade from the outpost with natives, and then we'll send out a goblin hunting party.

Stonehead gets to do another year and a couple months of mining, which will hopefully get things to the point where he's ready to drop the door once the hardware arrives.

To establish trade will require Deama complete her training with Crystal, so that one of them can be in each location. (Presumably someday Crystal will finish teach Golar so that he too can deal with the natives, allowing Crystal to travel if she wishes.)

Madir's apprenticeship also needs to be run.
