Note: the wheels in this picture are winter wheels with snow tires mounted.
The original wheels are in storage for the winter. The original "TTA" fender
logos and the Indy pace car decals are also in storage (they hadn't been
delivered to the dealer yet when the car was bought, and I never put them on).

In Trans Ams with leather seats, like this one, the leather tends to get worn
after a while. As I previously drove a GTA, though, I was aware of this problem
and was careful getting in and out. Click on the link below to see a closeup
of how nice the driver's seat still is after 100,000 miles.

Are you ready for the grungy pictures? I don't like to wash the engine
compartment, because I don't like to risk knocking a wire or a hose loose.
After 14 years and 100,000 miles, some grime has accumulated. It's a lot
better than the rust that could result from washing with water, though.
Besides, no one gets to see it except me and my mechanic - and you!

Here's a picture of the original wheels. The original Eagle
"gatorback" tires aren't available any longer, so the front wheels have
Goodyear Eagle F1s, the nearest equivalent. The back tires have Eagle
M+S snow tires, which I mounted before I realized they didn't have enough
tread left (and bought new snow tires and wheels instead). In front of
the wheels are the T roof shades, which I never installed since I like
to see the sky through the roof of the car.

Finally, a closeup of the Indianapolis Speedway logo just behind the front wheels.
